Pro Comp Suspension ES3000 Series Shock Absorber

When Pro Comp got their start in 1992, they focused on making suspension systems that would have the ability to conquer the harshest of terrains.  Eventually, they started branching out and they started making products that were related to the suspension systems that they were already famous for.  As of this writing, they makes wheels, tires and shocks.  Taking all of that into account, they have still never lost sight of the suspension systems and are constantly bringing new innovations to the field.

Pro Comp made their first venture into the wheel market in 2001 and just three years prior to that they began making tires.  That meant that wheels was the next logical step for them.  This was a good choice for them to make because the line of tires and the line of wheels could support one another.  From their beginning, Pro Comp had decided not to stick with just aluminum wheels but to also have wheels made from steel.  This was also a good decision because it allowed for their customers to have the option to buy wheels that are tough enough to handle any sort of terrain while they are also cost efficient.

All of that aside, regardless of what kind of wheels you have, you will always need shocks that will be tough enough to be able to tackle the terrain without you being bounced to pieces.  Until Pro Comp began making their own shocks, you had two choices when it came to tackling the trails.  You could do it the less expensive and more back breaking way or you could spend a fortune to do it in comfort.  Shocks that were high quality were incredibly expensive, but this all changed with the introduction of the ES3000 shocks by Pro Comp.

These shocks have a twin tube, gas filled design.  They are able to remain cool even when under extreme abuse.  They include a piston rod that has been chrome hardened and the shock mounts themselves have been double welded so that you get the ultimate on strength.  There are also rebound stops made from Teflon.

These shocks have a 10 stage valving that is velocity sensitive which basically means that they are able to self-adjust depending on the terrain you are on.  This improves your performance and your comfort both on the highway and on the trails.  Additionally, they are vehicle specific which means that the installation process is easy and modification free.  In addition to all of this, they come with a great warranty.
